With the rerelease of Oblivion potentially happening as you read this, fans of The Elder Scrolls are going to have a full plate.

Lets face it. I am ready to drop another 100 hours into Oblivion. But The Elder Scrolls Online will endure. I still regularly return to Tamriel.

The beauty and vastness is just fantastic. And since the Series X/S update it has become even better.

ESO: Gold Road – Byte Size Review

Welcome to the 2024 addition to Bethesda’s epic Elder Scrolls Online. ESO continues to be a game I return to on a regular basis.

A solid, grindy, MMORPG. I have covered a plethora of these add-on releases for the the base game, ESO: Tamriel Unlimited since 2015. I can’t help but feel that if you haven’t got into ESO by now then you probably never will.

For the first time since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion you can return to the Imperial City of Leyawiin and again enter the realm of Mehrunes Dagon. That’s right Portals to Oblivion are back. Byte Size – ESO Greymoor Review (Xbox One)

ESO Greymoor heads to Skyrim. A land held in high regard by adventurers world wide. A cold, bleak, and formidable landscape that only the strongest are willing to explore.

This is Western Skyrim, home of the Nords, a 1000 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Five years since The Elder Scrolls Online was released and following the annual major updates of Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr comes Greymoor.

The fourth ‘chapter’ release for the venerable ESO. With plenty of DLC and updates between each of these  major releases it is astounding how much content is now included in ESO.

Byte Size – ESO Elsweyr Review (Xbox One X)

OK, so firstly I must apologise for the delay in getting this review done. I have only just been able to consistently log in to the ESO servers in this last week. Now every time a new DLC is released for ESO there is a spike in users and some problems are expected but typically you get in within a few attempts. Not this time.

Welcome to the land of the Khajiiti, cat-like desert dwellers, famed for their prowess in the mercantile arts. Elsweyr is a diverse land of grasslands and canyons. Unfortunately the growing of Moon Sugar has been rudely interrupted by the return of dragons to the area.

Can you save the land from the dragons?

The Elder Scrolls Online–Summerset Review (Xbox One X)

Welcome to Summerset.

The latest province to open up in Tamriel via expansion pack. And a beautiful holiday destination it would make. Home of the High Elves and even rumoured to be the birth place of civilisation as we know it, a serene and peaceful place, well until those pesky Daedric Worshippers showed up.

I guess the plan is to rid the place of these fellas so you can kick back on the beach with a Colovian Amber Ale or two…
