Rambo breaks cover!

The publishers have released a special Rambo-esque montage to get your juices flowing and I have to admit the big kid in me just loves that theme tune.

There are movie icons and there are movie legends, in my opinion Sylvester Stallone is one of Hollywood’s often most underrated talents. One of his greatest inventions was his take on the surly character of John Rambo, with a movie franchise that has spanned most of my life Rambo films are high on the list of classic action hokum.

Now it is time for a Rambo game fit for this generation, the first screens have been released showing some spectacular environments although regardless of how pretty they are the game is going to need to be special to eclipse the 8-bit Commodore 64 version of First Blood part 2. RAMBO ® THE VIDEO GAME will be a fixed-perspective, first-person shooter & action game allowing players to fill the combat boots of John Rambo on a violent journey through iconic action sequences from the original three legendary Rambo movies.

FIRST BLOOD TM, RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II TM & RAMBO III TM will form the basis for authentic Rambo gameplay comprising shoot-outs, stealth killings, demolition, knife-play and more.

Developed by Teyon; RAMBO ® THE VIDEO GAME will leverage contemporary gameplay elements such as destructible terrain, cover-based shooting and rag-doll physics to deliver the high-quality Rambo-action fans around the world expect.
