Wolfenstein 2, Nintendo Switch

We do love a bit of rebooted Wolfenstein in this corner of the web, the franchise has brought old school style shooters back to the fore along with as much gore your stomach can master.

So hearing about it making its way to the Switch was a surprise given the Nazi bashing adult nature of the game and how it would sit with Nintendo’s family fun image.

Fear not BJ fans, its (mostly) all intact and relentless as ever.

Now we wait. #Wolfenstein3

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, Nintendo Switch

I have a confession, I’ve never been a huge fan of the Warriors series of games. Having played a few over the years the initially exciting impression of mashing your way through thousands of grunts always gave way to an air of ho-hum repetitiveness.

This Zelda themed offshoot, (it has to be said) while being cute and familiar is still a Warriors game at its beating heart.

XBOX Adaptive Controller

This is surely just the beginning.

Forged with user research through new partnerships (including The AbleGamers Charity, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, SpecialEffect, Warfighter Engaged, Craig Hospital, and many community members) that aim to make gaming more accessible, this new controller benefits gamers with limited mobility who may experience difficulty gaming with traditional controllers.

Burnout Paradise HD Remastered, PS4 Review

For many Burnout Paradise was the best of the series, an open world racing game chock full of stunts, jumps, races and sexy cars, not forgetting the spectacular crashes crumpling som of the shiniest crashes to grace the PS3 or Xbox360.

It was something of a pleasant surprise that the HD rework was announced a mere few weeks before release, building hype and expectation amongst the people that wanted to be taken back to Paradise City.

They will not be disappointed. No silly narrative, no loot boxes, no customisation. Just balls to wall, pedal to the metal, smash me up in hail of sparks fun.

MOSS, PSVR Review

There’s no point beating around the bush, Moss should be a PSVR system seller.

On the face of it the game could be discarded as a simplified platformer about a cute mouse – on the face of it.

But and this really is a big but, slipping on the PSVR Headset and finding yourself drawn into the world of Moss and its protagonist Quill makes something magical happen.

You are there, in the world standing over this magical kingdom and feeling more a part of the environment than you ever have before.

Burnout Paradise Remastered – March 16th!

Well, take me down to Paradise City!

A small, but very nice surprise to know that it won’t be long before we get given the chance to race, jump and smash our way across Paradise City in the ultimate car prang adventure – again.

Personally, I will always be a bigger fan of Burnout 2, and then Burnout 3: Takedown, but Paradise City stacks up above the competition and that includes a good chunk of its EA stablemates in the NFS franchise.

Either way, March 16th is just around the corner and who wouldn’t want to cruise under those HD blue skies?

Press release after the break…
