Fenix Rising DLC for Gears of War3 – review at Buttonmasher
The latest addition to the GOW Season Pass is aimed squarely at gamers with too much time on their hands. The theme of the pack is along the lines of embellishing the Marcus Fenix legend and is effectively a map-pack with a few extras. While this is not a bad thing, after the wealth of content we got with Raam’s Shadow it feels a little light.
It also offers new opportunities for people that had already ground their way to Level 100 to refresh their experience and start over in a similar vein to the COD Presteige. It has to be said that I have played areas reasonable amount of Gears competitively, but still languish about halfway to the magic hundred.
