Star Wars: Zero Company has been built by Bit Reactor which is a studio made up of ex-Firaxis developers. The very studio which gave us X-COM 2! Yes, you are correct, a “pattern of awesome” is starting to form. And to top it off, these amazing devs have added into the special tactical-sauce, a full-blown story with an engaging cast of characters, stunning voice acting and a meaningful consequence to choices.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls taps straight into my long running love of the Marvel fighting games. Over 30 years ago I burnt through countless hours and a shit-load of 50 cent coins, playing Marvel vs Capcom on an arcade cabinet in a Video Ezy store in Queenstown. Now in 2026, it has been so cool to be back playing with the heroes I love, with modern approachable gameplay, and sublime AAA graphics.

Console to a Gaming PC

Console gaming has had an ongoing compromise for the last couple of generations. 30fps at upscaled 4K-ish… with maybe Ray Tracing…or, a very distinct “OR”…60fps with some weird resolution of 1100p-ish if ya lucky. My default turn of phrase in my articles was often akin too: “Its 2025, we should be able to have 60fps with something close to 4K graphics!”
