Nier: Replicant, Byte Size Review

Nier: Automata arrived on the scene in 2017 and became an instant cult classic. Square Enix have as a result, seen fit to put some spit ‘n’ polish on the original Japanese version of Nier: Replicant, released in Japan in 2010.

Neir: Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … is a “Version Upgrade” bringing Replicant up to 60fps, adding a full voice cast and importantly modernised combat, akin to the brilliant Automata.

Just Cause 4 – Rico Through The Era’s trailers and posters

It’s no secret, we love a bit of Just Cause action down at the cottage and now just 2 days away from Just cause 4 Square Enix have dropped a clever selection of retro themed trailers and movie posters to go with the launch.

Personally I’m a sucker for the 1960’s and 1970’s versions, but I can see all five of the posters lined up on my office wall soon.

Just Cause 4: Trailer-splosion

2018 has been a melting pot of Triple-A gaming goodness, you can’t swing a cat without hitting a far reaching open world, overarching emotional narrative or swamp-like forests of side quests to get through.

All well and good, but some would, I certainly could argue that even being technically superlative examples of their breed they may have forgotten what it is to be a game.

Rico is back in a few weeks and blowing shit up has never looked so good.

Games are for fun, it’s time to remember that.
