Read MoreI have always been a fan of RPG’s, including to a lesser degree JRPG’s. But I have never even looked at any of the Shin Megami Tensei titles. Like many games with Japanese roots, the over sexualised schoolgirl vibe has not been something I particularly like.
And on top of that, the batshit crazy storylines can be pretty overwhelming.

A solid, grindy, MMORPG. I have covered a plethora of these add-on releases for the the base game, ESO: Tamriel Unlimited since 2015. I can’t help but feel that if you haven’t got into ESO by now then you probably never will.

“Don’t have to ask me twice,” I chirped, given I’d already completed the game on PlayStation 4 and then played it on PlayStation 5: I jumped at the chance to play it on PC.

Maybe with it releasing Day 1 onto Game Pass was the reason?

Stellar Blade is the first “AAA” outing for Seoul based developer Shift-Up and they have knocked it outta the park. Part Nier: Automata and part Sekiro but still… unique and most importantly, brilliant fun.
The PS5s arsenal of exclusives is even stronger for having this game in its quiver of titles.

Now, before you take a breath to scream…” Elden Ring”. Yes, it was wonderful! But for me, the story and world lore were too convoluted to be engossing. And the combat, the bosses in particular, was just too hard for me…….so, a wonderful game, but not fun.
Rise of the Ronin though, seems to sit in this sweet spot though, or I thought it was going to.
