Until Dawn, PS5 Byte Size Review

When Until Dawn first released back in 2015, it was quickly considered the best-in-class thriller of its kind, especially in the mainstream space.

It makes sense, then, that Sony would want to put out a next-gen version of the game.

Stasis Bone Totem (reviewed on PC)

A sequel to 2015 game Stasis, which I never played.

Stasis Bone Totem sees husband and wife oceanic salvagers Mac and Charlie O’Bannon (and robotic bear Moses) stumble across a derelict oil rig run by the Cayne Corporation.

What follows is a Lovecraftian tale that takes the main characters all the way down to an undersea complex and melds themes of an ancient alien civilisation, unnatural human experimentation and Gieger-esque visuals.

Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel, Byte Size Review

I have to be honest, I don’t tend to sit alone in the dark with a horror/survival games any more.

Sure, Resident Evil and Silent Hill are memorable experiances from my “gamer history”, but as I have got older they not experiances I need to revisit. Honestly, just too scary.

Fobia – St Dinfna Hotel is drawing inspiration from these giants of the genre, but with slightly less… intensity.

Alan Wake Remastered: Have torch, will travel

Alan Wake is not your typical video game hero.

He’s not a former soldier skilled in the art of warfare or a wronged man out for revenge: He’s a writer in a tweed sports jacket with leather elbow pads (over the top of a hoodie) who runs out of puff after he’s sprinted for a few seconds. He’s an every day man.

Alice. He’s hoping to cure the writer’s block that has stifled his creative flow for two years but he quickly finds out that all is not what it seems in this seemingly sleepy town.
