Sennheiser GSP 370 Headphones, Review (YouTube)

It’s been a while since my last Video Review. So I thought would come back strong with one of our favorites at Koru-Cottage… a Sennheiser GSP 370 headphones review to be precise.

German company Sennheiser is a very well established name in the audio world, in fact they have been around since 1945. They have however only in recent years ventured into the niche space of video game headsets, and now they boast a sizable range.

The Sennheiser GSP 370 wireless gaming headphones are some of the most impressive wireless headphones I have ever used. That said, to enjoy the quality and comfort you have to make sacrifices.

Phillips Hue, go into the light

In summary there is more than meets the eye with the Phillips Hue, once you start to tinker and play setting the mood becomes an event in itself. There is much I have not touched on here, but being able to program set routines and actions just builds on the automation dream.

My other absolute favourite benefit is being able to set the lights to ‘on’ as I approach the house, no more stumbling home in the dark because you didn’t think it would be that long.

I’m sold, well and truly – the Hue bulbs will certainly be staying and I will be extending them out across the house as soon as I can.

Follow the light.

Powerwave Controller Phone Mount, Xbox review

Powerwave Controller Phone Mount. That’s a mouthful, isn’t it?

Yes, I would say, but then I would also say. Good things come in small packages.

Currently hitting retail across Australia these nifty clip-on mounts really do offer you a better mobile gaming experience. With two models designed for PS4 and Xbox Powerwave have not re-invented a wheel, but they have done a good job making sure theirs is round.

When offered the chance to take a closer look I went with the Xbox unit. The main reasons being that I still actively use my Vita and PS-TV for gaming away from the TV. So with one eye on the future of Xbox streaming I figured it would be worth seeing how the unit fit for Microsoft.

Nacon Revolution Unlimited PS4 controller, Video Review

The lack of a real first party “Elite” controller on the PS4 has always been a pet peeve of mine, the Xbox has the stunning Xbox Elite controller and us poor PS4 gamers have been stuck with ‘pretty good’ wannabees for years now.

Well things have changed and we have had our prayers answered. Nacon have improved upon the original Nacon Revolution in pretty much every way, but that said, it still has a few niggles too.
When you get down to it, it is a great feeling, well designed and stunningly well made bit of gaming kit but to get the full run down on the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, take a look at our latest Video Review below.

LucidSound LS41 7.1 Headphones, Video Review

LucidSound is a relatively new kid on the block in the world of headsets, but they have put their flag in the sand and launched with a specific focus on gamers.

LucidSound shipped their first headset in March 2016, but they have some history in the gaming audio space, as the founder Chris Von Huben, was the founder of the very successful Triton gaming accessories company, which he sold to MadCatz in 2014ish, he then went on to start LucidSound.

Von Huben indicated he wanted to bring the aesthetic of Beats by Dre but build in the natural core control schemes gamers need.

The LS41 is the 2019 flagship 7.1 wireless model for LucidSound and it certainly holds true to the idea of being the ‘Beats’ headphones for gamers. Well made with excellent features and are now my go-to PS4 headset, hands-down. I love them.

Nacon “Daija” Arcade Stick, Video Review

Nacon are the relative new kids on the block, as far as Video Game accessories go, but the French company seems to go from strength to strength in the field, first with its excellent PS4 controller, now the “Daija” (Japanese for “Large Serpent”) is here to challenge for a podium spot in the popular Fight Stick market.

Check out the Video Review – where we give the rundown on the Good, the Bad and the Ugly parts of this stick!

Vector by Anki, review

In the late 70’s I grew up watching Gil Gerard save the day as Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century, while the nuances of plot may have been lost on me one indelible mark was left.

I wanted a robot pal. I wanted my own Twiki, an independent automation that could be my faithful friend through thick and thin. Well forty years later here we are, me and Vector.

Vector is the latest must have gadget from the creative gang at Ankhi, a natural successor to the Cosmo robot that popped up a couple of years ago he has more going for him technically with a laundry list of tech squashed into his cute roving body.

I guess the burning question is, this. Are Robots just for Christmas?

According to Anki, “Vector is the Robot to Life with”. Cute.
